IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19 & OUR OPERATIONS.

To The Cloud Nine Guides Community:
Effective March 13th, 2020, Cloud Nine Guides began the process of ceasing all operations, both domestic and international, indefinitely in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We believe it is our collective social responsibility to work to slow it's advance. It is our belief that the sooner we accomplish this collectively, the sooner we will all be able to return to the mountains and the satus quo.
Our operations at present are temporarily suspended, field operations have been postponed until further notice. Our first priority has and will continue to be the health and safety of our Guests, Guides, and the environments we are fortunate enough to work within. Over the next month there will be delays in responding to your requests for information and updates, please know we are diligently working through a large volume of client communication, balanced with the requirement we stay current with the changing landscape the pandemic has presented us with.
For those with questions regarding the impacts COVID-19 on your bookings, we ask that you review the Booking Terms and Conditions agreed to at time of your booking prior to reaching out. This will substantially reduce the amount of time required for us to respond in full to all client communication.
We are working diligently to create solutions that will allow us an efficient return to the status quo as soon as we are mandated to do so, elevated risk levels associated with COVID-19 have been reduced, and most importantly, when our operations don't serve as potential to overburden essential services. We are fortunate not to have been impacted in ways that might mean the end of our business, and we would like to acknowledge and thank those who have supported us over the last 8 years primarily for that - it is your support that will allow us to return to what we love to do the most when circumstances allow it.
We encourage everyone at present to head the warnings of our Provincial and Federal Governments and associated Health Services. The responsibility flatten the curve belongs to each of us, and we encourage all those reading, to consider our vulnerable populations, and those working in essential and health services on the front lines ahead of our personal need for mountain adventure at present. The messaging is clear in how this is to be accomplished, STAY HOME.

We suggest these as resources in answer to any questions you may have relating specifically to COVID-19.
As Cloud Nine Guides began as a start up in a highly competitive marketplace, this does not mark the first time we have been faced with challenges, disruption, or the need for resiliency. The challenges we've faced, and what we've learned as an Organization from the past will be the foundation that allows the opportunity to emerge stronger from this in the future. The mountains often serve as an excellent metaphor for life. We have no doubts that whatever may lay around the next corner, that we all, collectively, have the resilience and ability to take that on together and continue, if only just one step at a time.
