CARLA DEMYEN
Carla is an IFMGA Mountain Guide that was born and raised on the Canadian prairies, always feeling like she was born in the wrong place. The mountains were calling and she made the move west shortly after finishing high school. She has been chasing perfect snow and inspiring lines to climb on rock and ice ever since. She has worked in the Guiding Industry for the past 15 years and is always keen to learn and grow as a guide.
Currently, Carla is living her dream life with her partner Forest and their 5-year-old son, Wilder, in Golden, BC.

I'm a part of the MAST program at the college of the Rockies, and we have the pleasure of working with the cloud 9 team. The guides that we worked with are outstanding. They have so much knowledge and are great teachers. I had the pleasure of having Carla Demyen on our trip. She is truly an inspiration and a lovely human. she pushed us to try new things and was there when we needed her 10/10.
